The book I have chosen is called Influencers, written by Carole Lamarque.
The internet already gives a brief explanation about the consent of the book, which makes it easier to decide whether you want to purchase it.
Influencers is the first book that gives a complete picture of influencer marketing as a whole.
It allows every CEO, CMO and potential trendsetter to see how you can best spread your message and provides a step-by-step plan to determine the right magnetic content, the right timing and the right type of influencer. The book shows you how you can develop an innovative marketing and communication strategy that forms the basis for your Influencer Marketing Canvas. This Canvas positions your objectives, actions and influencers on a timeline and gives you a bird's-eye view of your plan that can help to win over other internal stakeholders. - source.
But why is this the best marketing book in my opinion?
From the start, the book explains how it's written and which kind of content you can find inside. The beginning pages also explain the way of writing which immediately made me want to finish reading this book in one go. The way of writing is so easy and understanding.
You get many examples which makes it easier to understand the big amount of information the book provides. Most examples used in the book are often from the daily life. For example, influencers that are from Belgium or The Netherlands. For me personally, this made it a fun book to read since I already follow and know a lot of the Dutch influencers. They use influencers like Eden Hazard, for example, which is cool since he is a very well know person and most of the people will recognise him by only reading his name on a paper.
It's clear to say this book is a real go getter for those who aren't known with influencer marketing but want to start to give it a try in their company, or use it to grow their brand. The book begins from the ultimate start and helps you to build your first influence marketing based on your brand or company, providing you with all the tips and tricks that might come in handy.
I would suggest every person working in the marketing field and wanting to know more about the influencer marketing to give this book a go, it will change your way of looking at influencers (in a more positive way). The book will make you realise it might be something good to use at your own company, or at least give it a try and experiment with this.
